The rotation stage is for finely tuning the part’s rotation angle. For the contact method, there is a metal surface contact method and a ball bearing method. The angles are marked along the circumference; after setting it in the current position, it will stay put once fastened with the clamp screw; and it can be fine-tuned with the micrometer head.
Some products like 80, 100, 120, 150, have an inner hole in the middle of the stage where the optical beam can go through and be mounted. Products with ball bearings that can be used in heavy load situations are also available.
